Adam MCDONALD filed his Declaration of Intent to become a naturalized citizen in Placer County, California on 2 September 1867. His witnesses were Robert CRAVENS and D. W. SPEAR. It was entered on page 100, Minute Book D. From CD 319: Federal Census for 1870: Adam MCDONALD was listed in the index as living in the Bath, Placer Co. CA area. He is listed on page 29. He is listed on both the Census and voter registration records of 1900 for Placer Co. I have found him on the Great Register for Placer Co. living in Iowa Hill as late as 1898.
