Subject: Peter ANSPACH ca.1860-65 Plumis/Sierra/Shasta Co.

I'm trying to find out what happened to Peter ANSPACH b.1819 OH., 1.m.Ann LANNING , 2.m.Amilda BARNETT (both m. IN) - helped found Mason Lodge in Clay Co.,IL in 1856, went to CA. ca.1860 , sent letters back to daughters in Clay Co.,IL. from 1860-65. Have no info. after 1865. He mentions interests in mines, but not the name(s) of the mines. Letters sent from Plumas, Sierra, & Shasta Counties. His brother Thomas ANSPACH & brother-in-law Jacob REED were there also, but for shorter time periods. I need to know if he died in CA/where/when/buried? Did wife Amilda join him there, their son John Laurey ANSPACH was b.1858 in Clay Co.,IL. Please email any info ymw42@yahoo.com
