Subject: GOLDRUSH MOST WANTED - A. D. A. CHAMPION
Howdy!
We are looking for our GGfather A.D.A. Champion. He arrived in California
in Dec 1849 from France. We were told that he went to Toulumne first to a
Canadian French Camp. strong possibility he was a merchant of dry goods
there. Later in 1864, he filed a mine claim in Mariposa County Court House
for his site near Indian Gulch and Santa Cruzita Mt. Any proof or
information would be greatly welcomed!
