Subject: Samuel S. CURRIER
I am looking for what happened to Samuel S. Currier after 1863. He owned
and ran a hotel in Georgetown El Dorado County where he lived with his
wife Susan Coffin Gray Currier and children, George Milton Currier, Susan
Jane Currier, Margaret Hyatt Currier and William Henry Currier. In 1870
his wife and younger children are in Healdsburg Sonoma County but there is
never a mention of Samuel. His Grandson Samuel, son of Geo.M. listed his
father and his Uncle Benjamin Currier in his application for membership to
the NDGW but did not list his father. This makes me wonder if it was
something other than death that happened to him.
