Subject: [CA-GOLDRUSH-L] Ebenezer Burton HASLETT
Looking for any information on my g-g-grandfather, Ebenezer Burton HASLETT. He
came to CA from PA according to family tradition. He resided in Saw Pit Flats,
Onion Valley, Plumas Co, CA from 1865 to 1867. He had a son, John Henry HASLETT,
with Almira Jane CARRIER. I am assuming that he mined or panned for gold there.
He then showed up in Rohnerville, Humbolt Co. On 20 March 1869, he married Villa
B. DAVENPORT. I have no idea what he was doing up in this area? After this point
he vanishes off the face of the earth. He doesn't show up on any census records.
I have no idea when/where he was born, or when/where he died. And no clue as to
what happened to his second wife Villa B. DAVENPORT. I would appreciate hearing
from anyone who is researching the HASLETT, CARRIER, or DAVENPORT lines. Thanks
for your help and assistance in this matter. Dave Schory, Phone #:(805)
