Subject: Ebenezer PRICE
My gg grandfather, Ebenezer PRICE, came to California in 1849. He and his
brother, William PRICE, traveled with other boys from Knox County, IL. Family
history has him digging for gold on a little stream called Gold Run that emptied
into the Yuba River, located about 30 miles northof Sacramento. It's been
suggested that he was actually at Sutters Hock Farm, which fits better
geographically. The only Gold Run I located was east of Sacramento. Does anyone
know if records exist from Sutters Hock Farm--where I might write for
info--etc.?
