Subject: Goldrush Most Wanted (HICKS)
Looking for informarion about the HICKS family in Nevada City, arriving there in
the late 1850s. Henry Harry HICKS and wife, Jane WHITE, were from St. Just In
Penwith, Cornwall. They had four children, Margaret (b. Cornwall), Amanda and
Thomas (b. PA) and Lavinia Patience (b. 1861 Nevada City) She was my
ggrandmother. She married William THOMAS in 1882, they had 9 children, lived in
Nevada City all her life.
