Looking for information on my ancestor, James Stanton, and the Allison Ranch
Mine, located near Grass Valley. James arrived in Grass Valley by 1854 and lived
there until 1860, when he moved to San Francisco. He was one of the owners of
the Allison Ranch Mine for an unknown period of time.
