Subject: [CA-GOLDRUSH] Most Wanted: VAN ARNAMS
I am searching for information on John and any other Van Arnams. John was born
Ontario, Canada about 1801, moved to Bureau Co IL 1839. Was married with
children in Illinois. Left family in IL for CA during gold rush. Was Justice of
the Peace of Washington Township and County Coroner in Yuba County in 1850s.
Died In Washington, Yolo Co, CA, August 3, 1859 at the age of 58 years. I have
John's will and probate. Would welcome any other information.
