Subject: GOLDRUSH MOST WANTED - FRAZIER

Joseph FRAZIER came to California from Iowa sometime in 1850. "He left home when he was just 16 years old and had come across the plains with a train of oxen and wagons. He made his way into northern California and found work with a man named JACKSON. This man was working a gold mine claim. [Joseph] stayed and worked for three years. Finally he got home sick and decided to return by water. In those days you had to go all away around Cape Horn and it took a very long time." He was back in Warren County, Iowa by October 15, 1858 when he married Clarissa JOHNSON.
