Re: CA-GOLDRUSH MOST WANTED - LUCKENBILL
Subject:[CA-GOLDRUSH-L]Most Wanted: Martin Luckenbill According to family
history, my ggf, Martin LUCKENBILL, came west to CA in 1851. I located him in
the 1860 Census living in Scott Valley Township, Siskiyou Co. He was living with
a brother, Jonathan. Martin then moved to the Walla Walla area. Jonathan was in
West Bear River Twp, Yuba Co. in the 1870 Census. Not known if Jonathan had a
family, or what happened to him. The 1860 Census also listed a Henry Luckenbill
living in Twp 7 (Post Office- Sutter Creek), Amador Co. He then is gone in the
1870 Census. I suspect that this is my great-great-grandfather. Any information
would be helpful. Ron Luckenbill (
