Looking for information about Mary BURKE (b. March 21, 1844, Sydney, Australia) and Mattias "Mott" RIEHM (b. 1836, Chicago, Illinois), who married in San Francisco about 1868. Mary came to California in late 1849 or early 1850 with her family from Australia aboard the ship "Maria." Her mother was Bridget WHELAN; her stepfather was James SULLIVAN (b. 1814, Ireland); one of her half-sisters was the actress Maggie MOORE (born Margaret Virginia SULLIVAN, July 10, 1851, in San Francisco). Mott's date of arrival in California is uncertain. By 1875 they had moved to Virginia City, NV. Mary died in 1884 and Mott in the 1920s.
