[Perhaps you noted some corrections sent to the list by Robert Penland. I have consulted the xerox copy, and he is correct; the following changes should be made to reflect what the record book actually says: *8 Dec. 1901 marriage of Frank Hironymous and Hattie Penland: the witness is Mrs. Mary MORLEY (not MOSLEY) *5 Jan. 1902 marriage of Moda [?] Page and a Penland woman, the first name should read MAE (not MAR or MRS) *16 Jan. 1902, for the bride it reads MORLEY (not MOSLEY)
Also, Stan Harris has reported that the correct spelling of the last name of weddings 20 June 1900 and 31 Dec. 1900 should be “McConnaughy”; I think this is probably what the record book actually says, though it is difficult to read.
